Contributors

For our 2 podcasts, we had a creative skill podcast, and then a more practical one. In each of these we were looking for 5 contributors which would allow them to flow in a similar way. In the first podcast, in order, we had the following people interviewed which made it as part of our final piece:

– Gemma Baker – Interviewed at the Lincolnshire Drill Hall, all about her skill in poetry. Spoke about how there was a sense of community at the event, and a few of her friends also read out some poetry.

– Graham Wilsoncroft – Mature student, singer-songwriter and guitar player, this interview took place at the University of Lincoln. Very modest but it is clear that he is exceptional at his skill, managed to provide us with 3 bits of audio as well.

– Cassandre Balosso-Bardin – Lecturer at the Unviersity but her main talent is bagpipe playing. Mentions how she heard it in streets and chased after this skill, now plays at many festivals while travelling. Also provided us with some audio which was magnificent.

– Alina Burney – Student at the University of Lincoln, has taught herself English as a second language. Moved to England from Pakistan at age of 10 and has also taught herself Spanish, in English!

– William Helps – Student at the University of Lincoln, keen creative writer. Has been writing since he was 4 and it is evident that he has a massive passion for it. Bases his stories on what he sees in around bars, clear that he is very skilled as he read some of his book out.

The second podcast, which was more practical, also feature 5 contributors:

– Tiana Mae – Friend of Jess’, loves drawing, prefers sketching people but she’s open to new ideas. Wants to move into the art of sculptures, her mum was involved in interior design which influenced her. These photos of her drawings show how good she is!

– Samantha Waterer – Someone else that Jess knows, she is a keen horse rider and has been doing it for 20 years. Helps disabled children to ride horses too, and also teaches people about horse health. Doesn’t want to pass it on to kids though because of stress, but clearly enjoys it as the photos show.

– Matt Mosey – Student at the University of Lincoln, massively into fishing thanks to his ex-girlfriends dad. He has also passed the skill onto two of his friends, says that he has to be in the zone to enjoy fishing – this means having no phone while doing it! Also spoke about fishing equipment, his tackle box can be seen below.
